Beeston Hockey Club, formed by Nottingham High School students in 1907, is the largest hockey club in the Midlands with over 300 adult playing members, a junior section with over 450 children, and 70 vice-presidents. The club is also incredibly proud to host a successful disability squad, ‘Flyerz’, with over 40 members.

With 14 adult teams there is hockey for players of all abilities, including a men’s and a women’s 1st team competing in the National League. Players who join Beeston will be able to develop their career whilst also playing high level hockey. The club also prides itself on being an important part of the local community and works with a wide number of clubs, schools and charities to support the growth of the sport.

The city has two large universities providing a wealth of courses for people wanting to study a wide variety of courses whilst also playing hockey at the top level.
